The terrorist launch pad was located in the Lepa Valley. Sources told Zee Media that the army targeted the launch pad which was located near the posts of the Pakistan Army. Sources said that the Pakistani army was using these posts to target Indian villages to provide cover for terrorists to infiltrate inside India.

On Thursday, Zee Media reported that Pakistan has now set up new and mobile training camps for militants in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Pakistani militant group Jamaat-e-Islami is leading these terror camps in Tarnoti and Pothi Bala in Rawalakot, where recruits are being recruited to carry out attacks in India.

According to intelligence sources, terrorists of varied Pakistani teams as well as Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul mujahidin and Lashkar-e-Toiba are a part of these coaching camps established with the assistance of the Pakistani Army in August 2019. These terrorists are also being trained to cross the Line of Control (LoC) and enter Jammu and Kashmir. He has been asked to attack a popular religious shrine in Jammu and Kashmir and also target security forces deployed in the union territory.

Intelligence sources also said that the Pakistan Army and ISI have set up three new terrorist camps in PoK to ensure the infiltration of a large number of militants into Jammu and Kashmir.

At least 18 terrorist camps and launch pads in the PoK have been identified by Indiana agencies, where a large number of militants are set to cross the Line of Control with active support from the Pakistan Army and ISI. Some of the prominent terrorists are at Camp Mansehra, Kotli and A-3. Under Mansehra, launch pads are present in Balakot, Garhi, Habibullah, Battarsi, Chero Mandi, Siva Nala, Mascara, and Abdullah bin Masood.
