Pakistan Navy is conducting Operational Exercise RIBAT-2019 to review the operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy.
To strengthen Fleet Fire Power, successful missile firing from the surface and aerial platforms were also conducted during the exercise, confirming the impressive combat capabilities of the Pakistan Navy.
The purpose of this exercise is to validate various operational concepts and tactical combat procedures, including joint operations with all Pakistani Navy Field Command and Pakistan Air Force.
During practice RIBAT, units of Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force are participating in maritime operations in various domains under complex gray hybrid warfare environments. Simultaneously, Pakistan Marine and Special Operation Force (SOF) are rehearsing special operations including coastal security, air defense, and maritime intake operations, etc.
This exercise shows the intention of Pakistan’s Navy to maintain the highest position of readiness and combat capability to ensure Pakistan’s maritime defense and security during peace and war.
The Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmoud Abbasi witnessed the firing of missiles and expressed his complete satisfaction at the operational readiness of the Pakistan Navy.
He also reaffirmed the resolve that the Pakistan Navy is ready to protect its maritime borders and will give a befitting reply to any adventurous in adverse conditions.
